PUNCH® Indian Tiger Mountain™
From Bababudan Giris, the birthplace of coffee in India four hundred years ago, a special coffee emerged from the highlands where the Indian tigers roamed, and you can taste that flavour difference in PUNCH® Indian Tiger Mountain™.
The aroma, flavour, body and acidity of the coffee is said to be rooted in its mystical beginnings and is also enhanced by the spice and fruit crops such as pepper, cardamom, vanilla, orange and banana that grow beside the coffee plants.
This coffee is grown above 3,000ft (914m) under a two-tier mixed shade canopy, comprising evergreen leguminous trees, which not only prevent soil erosion, but enrich the soil and protect the plants from seasonal temperature fluctuations, and provide a home to diverse flora and fauna.
